Now I’m ready for the Nova Scotia DOT’s salt ribbons - i.e. Nova Scotian winter roads - to ravage my poor little car again. :( :/

I am, but my other tires were all-seasons rather than full-on ‘summer’ tires, so at least I would’ve had SOME traction, haha!

Drove the van in snow  with the current mud + snow tires on Monday and I’m definitely getting full snows as soon as I can afford it. Best invention ever.

I’m hoping to get rid of this car next year so I really don’t want to drop that money for new tires. Also as an apartment dweller I have pretty limited storage space. Hopefully I don’t die driving too/from the mountains, but usually it’s not bad (and I’m driving on highways most of the way).

I got a tropical storm instead. Lots of people with power out. Lots of cars got crunched.  Look at how it snapped that pole in half!

Damn, no fun! We get the remnants of your hurricanes and Tropical storms up the coast often, but it’s rare they hit with REALLY bad force. We’ve had them before though....no fun AT all...

Pfft. We’ve already had nine inches and it’s come and gone.

This year is the first that I’ve had hardcore snow tires on my big work beast.

My gas mileage has plummeted, but holy hell are these things good. I drove through an ice storm up to Casper last week, then dealt with the snow storm on Monday, and the grip is awesome.

It was mainly just crazy high winds. Took several trees with it.
